Easy to read Stock Trading Books

Reading good stock trading books can be a great way to improve your knowledge of trading. They can be an excellent addition to finding free content on the internet in the form of sites like mine :)

I have read many books on stock trading but my favorites are definitely the ones listed below:

A Beginner's Guide to Short-Term Trading
by Toni Turner

Toni Turner: a Beginner's guide to short term trading

This is a great book for the new trader starting out. It is concise and easy to understand.

The author writes about easy to follow trading systems including pullback strategies and breakout strategies.

She also writes a lot about the importance of trading with the right mindset. This is something I personally feel is a big factor in trading.

Trading for Dummies
by Michael Griffis

I love all the dummies guides on financial trading. This is my favorite though, as it is so easy to follow and understand.

It goes into a lot of detail on many topics including:

How to analyze charts
How to choose the right broker for you
How to develop your own successful trading system
How to spot trends and profit from them
How to analyze a company’s stock

How To Make Money In Stocks, Third Edition: A Winning System in Good Times or Bad
by William J. O'Neil

This a great book for traders at all levels, right from the beginner to the experienced trader.

The authors first rule is that a company must show a pattern of growing profits. So if you want to invest in new startup companies, this book may not be for you.

I really like his attitude towards trading, it is both professional and rational.

The Naked Trader: How Anyone Can Make Money Trading Shares
by Robbie Burns

I like this book because it covers so many aspects of trading and explains them extremely well.

Topics covers include the basics of trading, trading psychology, trading strategies. One thing I really like about the book is the author talks openly about things that he did wrong, so the reader can learn from his mistakes. Not many authors are humble enough to do this :)
